I went into this film not knowing anything about it and 60 secs into the film I’m saying to myself this looks like my city. And sure enough it was. Kinda reminded me of a Martin Scorsese film. Nicely done movie with plenty of twist n turns."

It is entertaining but I found the message disturbing when you stop to ask at the end of it all “Que Bono?” Matt Damon’s monologue blatantly describes exactly how all is set up for him to get ahead. The “sting” he feels is from the pride of parting with money (temporarily)he already knows will return to him ten fold because that’s how life works. Based in 1954, the movie was filmed using the same "fish-eye" lenses of the time, along with accurate footage of the neighborhoods and recreation of the buildings of the period, you're left feeling like you are watching a real-time movie. The viewer is left trying to keep up with who's on the take and who the honest thief is. A little slow at times, but so worth the watch. "

"I'm still annoyed we didn't find out about Curt's land. He talks about it once or twice, it's his reason for being there, but we never find out why somebody took it from him, or why he wants it back. It just goes nowhere (or did I miss something?)."
